A labor of love

If you know me, you know that I adore the Eaton family!  Ben and Matt go way back and when they moved to our area I fell in love with Christy instantly.  She never ceases to amazing me with all she does and how creative and talented she is.  A few weeks ago late into the night, she put the icing on the "Christy is awesome" cake!

I had the privilege of being present at the birth of Baby Eaton #3 and was thrilled they wanted me in the room to document this special occasion in their life.

Christy went to a scheduled doctors appointment and there they told her that today was the day she was in labor and baby was ready for a birthday! She and Ben arrived at the hospital in the early afternoon and got settled into the room, shortly after they broke her water and things started progressing.  I got the call to come on over around 6pm and arrived about 7:15.

Christy was amazing.  She was calm, cool and totally in control of her all natural labor.  It was amazing to watch her breathe through each contraction.
Ben was her rock, constantly offering  tender words of encouragement.

She labored most of the time standing as this was more comfortable for her, It made me tired just watching her but she was steady and strong.

Things around 10pm got exciting and it was time for this baby to make his appearance.  Christy was calm and focused and with one task in mind.

Baby Michael made his way into the world at 10:37pm and came out big and pink and screaming! Just like we like em!

In love with their newest little blessing!

The next day Baby Michael got to meet his big brother and sister!

Happy Birthday precious one and thanks Ben and Christy for letting me be with you on such a special occasion, LOVE you guys!

I am so happy for her that she will forever have these wonderful pictures to document that sacred experience and be able to have a visual reminder of that day. Thanks for being there and providing these pictures for all of us "out of towners" to be able see some of the details of that day. Much thanks to you and love to Christy and her darling family!
