What to wear for a winter family photo session...

Well at least it feels like winter today here in Colorado!  The air is chilly the sun went to bed at noon and there is a dusting of snow on my yard.

When the weather turns chilly I love the options we have to add to our wardrobe for photos.  Tights for mom and little girls, scarfs and hats all add texture and layers which I LOVE.

Below are some great sibling ideas for that upcoming family photo session that I know all those Moms out there have been stressing over! :)

Just look at this precious wee one!  I had the pleasure of spending an awesome afternoon with this little 8 day old bundle, his Mama and Grandma.

He was soooo good during his photo shoot just slept (and wet) and let me snuggle him and put him into all sorts of poses.

The "A" family sure knows how to have fun together!
When selecting a location for their session there was only one place it had to be, The Adams County fairgrounds! Easter egg hunts, picnics and family football games all take place at this fun location! I hear this Grandma knows how to put an one mean Easter egg hunt! 

Part of this awesome family lives behind me and they know how to throw a family gathering. My family has even been known to crash in on them from time to time!

And these kids... don't even get me started on how amazing these cuties are (I'm currently watching them play in my backyard) LOVE these kiddos, LOVE the blue eyes and LOVE that I got to spend an evening with them in front of my camera!
